Nothing you said here is true. And why do you think I'm sick of it. You make me laugh.

You aren't sick of it, yet you go out of your way to angrily mutter my username under your breath in threads that I haven't even posted in?

Honestly you sound unhinged. But keep doing you.

Lol didn't know we had an invisible grrrr remote that showed when people were angry. You're just very predictable and make for fun times.

In the spirit of actually looking at the point:  Nope.  While Fournette looks like he can be a game changing back when healthy, he's had some serious issues with that.  Also, he's a pounding RB.  He's not going to make folks miss, instead he's going to hammer guys.  This is going to affect his health.

CMC is not a hammer.  I've been very excited seeing how he plays for us catching passes and running the ball.  I think it's really made us much more dynamic, and I'm thrilled with that as a fan.

So no.  I'll keep CMC.

If we had picked Fournette we would probably still have Shula as offensive coordinator since handing the ball off to a big back on dive plays is 90% of his playbook.  His inability to use a guy like CMC really exposed his shortcomings. So we will always have that to thank CMC for.

    • The OL has certainly been better than the trainwreck it was three or four years ago. As far as competitiveness let's apply some realism and clarity here. Quite a bit of the competitiveness in 2025 came from the defensive side of the ball which gave up the most points in league history the year before and was one of the bottom 5 units in terms of salary cap allocation for 2025 while the OL was top 3. We had the 26th passing offense last year. And if not for a herculean couple of games from Rico Dowdle we don't back our way into the division title or make the playoffs because we went 4-6 in our final ten games including being swept by the Saints who were starting a rookie 2nd round pick most of us mercilessly mocked when they selected him. In conclusion yes we've seen a difference. The question now is will the investment pay off the way we want. But the only way that happens is if we field a top 15 offense. If we can't even crack the top 20 then there need to be some very warm seats across the board. And I would hope just about anyone here should agree with that.
    • These Spurs are lowkey loaded.  If healthy, they could win it all this year (#2 in the West right now). I still think we’ve gotta keep Kalk on Wemby; he’s not getting completely dominated like every other NBA center.
    • Am I the only one who doesn't understand this fan bases infatuation with adding a high end TE? Especially when we have some bigger bodies in T-Mac and Coker who can slide into the slot at times and provide the big dependable target over the middle that most teams use their TE for. I mean, sure, it would be nice to have one of those elite TE's, but I feel like that's a position your better off going cheap with a committee who each bring something different to the table while spending our cap room on the more important positions. I like the potential we saw from Evans this year, Sanders could be a best if he can stay healthy, and Tremble has improved as well.  Just feels like spending high draft picks or cap space on other needs and more important positions is a better use of our resources than splashing on a TE in the draft or FA. Are those guys on the level of the Bowers or McBride's of the world?  Of course not, but we also are paying a fraction of the cost on our TE room than they are, and we're able to use that money for other needs.
