Dear Eric Reid....(memos from Panther fans)

Congrats on the signing. You are entering an organization who is hungry for a SB, after being so close these last few years. We have a rabid, traveling fan base that will have your back. You have a premier QB and some major playmakers on Offense, along with a mastermind in Norv whomst’ is perfecting his craft.

On defense, you are surrounded by absolute studs, lead by a couple future HOFers. You will be playing behind a nasty front line and have some seriously underrated, you talent around you.

Looking forward to your leadership and your playmaking abilities to sure-up an already great defense.

As fans we ask you play hard, and stay focused on the prize of winning a Super Bowl for the Carolina Panthers in Atlanta in February.

Looking forward to your success.

p.s. Know any good offensive linemen?

p.p.s. Matt Ryan and Drew Brees voted for Trump

I'm just waiting for the this thread on the Huddle: "Will Reid stand for the Anthem????" Over under posted in the next 20 seconds...?

I'm actually curious but there is no way in hell that thread will be anything but a disaster.

    • Why are Vikings fans acting like we peed in their cereal?
    • I’m actually fine with our TE group. I would like to see us upgrade at ILB, maybe safety and CB.   I think we are good at WR. I thought Corley could have been a good player but I guess he wasn’t doing good at all.   I came across this article about Corley from today. I know sometimes a change of scenery can really help turn around a player and we’ve seen plenty of players from the jets end up being good other places. I just don’t know if Corley is that guy.   https://www.newsweek.com/sports/nfl/jets-insider-shares-embarrassing-fact-about-malachi-corleys-release-2119816
    • I was really rooting for him after seeing that video about his struggles. I always thought he was a solid and underrated player.   I thought for sure he would have made the team after hearing all the hype and how he made that overthrown catch by Plummer behind the line and still was able to gain a yard or two off it. Plummer really overthrew him each time yet he was able to still not lose yards. I think he still could play in the nfl. I think he may need a few months to get into top form though. Hopefully he will get signed to another team.
