Some of y’all act like Greg hasn’t been injury free and played an entire season for 90% of his career.

Yeah, but he's also 33 now coming off breaking his foot twice. You're right that overall, he looks like he could play another 5 years, but if the feet don't hold up then it's over. By his own admission he'll need another surgery at the end of the season which means he's literally playing with a broken foot.

With that said, I think he'll come out and play well this Sunday. I just don't think we can realistically expect him to last the entire rest of the season. It's just too fragile a situation, one wrong step and it's over.

How likely is it that either of them finishes out the season? I'm putting the odds really low.

Last year Olsen was rushed back and got hurt right away. Ryan wakes up with a sore neck and is out for rest of year.... What kind of bullshit was that? I'd honestly prefer to just keep them on the bench or IR them

Well, he stated he “may need surgery” and that isn’t definitive as of yet.

Secondly even if he needs a second surgery it does not mean he is “literally playing on a broken foot.” At the very least, the fracture will be healed to not only bear weight but forcefully propel via the ground for acceleration by the time he actually plays.

I formly believe he has a solid 2-3 years left in him physically to perform. It’s the broadcasting career more than anything that I think will deter him from returning to play.

I'll be shocked if Olsen's foot holds up, but if it's as good as it's going to get without surgery might as well play him and see how long it lasts. I mean, if they're saying he'll likely need surgery in the off-season they're pretty much admitting that it's likely to re-break. That's why he needs surgery.

Really good to hear about Ryan. I was worried when it looked neck/shoulder related since that's where pretty much all of his past injuries have been.
