Agree. I still think he can become a contributor here, atleast part time or on ST but he obviously needs to prove he can stay healthy. There have certainly been players in the past who've gotten over early career injuries but yeah he's running out of time.

I'm hopeful for Moore and Samuel, but it definitely looks as if we'll let a Funch walk after the year in which case you're right we probably will need more WR help, probably a true red zone target (who can use his size unlike KB and Funch...). But I wouldn't necessarily feel we have to target one early. Maybe even go FA

He just isn’t an NFL WR.  Just can’t stay healthy and he never received many targets to begin with...time to move on.

I like Byrd and wish he could stay healthy...but the more chances to get the ball in DJ's hands the better.  Byrd has been a solid to good return guy, but it's nothing DJ can't also do.

I have been wondering more and more if they will let Funchess walk.  Last week he played decent but week before was abysmal.  He would probably net a comp 5th or so if we let him go, so it’s something to consider.  He is another example of not being a “marty guy” so it wouldn’t surprise me

I just doubt we'll pay anywhere near market value for him with what WRs are getting these days, especially with Curtis and DJ on rookie deals here for a little while longer...

I don't think there is a huge market rate for underperforming receivers, he would be lucky to make 7 mil a year
