It's amazing how many people don't understand this. Even Luke has said it's easier when the defensive front is playing well.

He definitely hasn’t been very good this year. Was great against Dallas but since has been mostly average and sometimes just outright bad. Not too sure what to think honestly.

Luke has not made any impact plays since the Cowboys game. No tackles for loss, sack, int, etc. However, a separate thread needs to be made for KK Short. Stupid false start, got no pressure on a guy playing with a bum knee and thrown aside in the run game.

Come on kid.... he literally had 2 TFL's today.   This just proves half of you bozos don't even watch the games, or just simply aren't able to process what you're watching.

Yes, he hasn't been all-world this year like he usually is, but he is still the best MLB in the league

in this case, even if Luke has lost a step...he is a field general. Should have been luke playing chess in the Pepsi commercial (not RR). I bet, some QBs do not put in the film time Luke does...that is still worth a lot on it's own.

 

btw- we just signed the missing piece...what happened to that? SB bound we were 3 weeks ago...

I pied you, not because I agree, but I think you're making a point because of how much people have been shitting on Cam and ignoring the criticism to Luke.  I love luke, but seriously, if he's the best in the game, we should be better on defense.  He's the defenses QB and our defense has been shredded every single game.  We're out of place and bad right now and Luke is part of that bad defense.  I do think/hope he'll get us on track, but right now, he's also not good

I think Luke's fall off in play can be attributed to Poe and Short. They're not being impact players. 

And I'm not sure Poe is an upgrade over Star. Say what you want but we never had a suspect run game when he was around.

I get that Washington thinks we have better corners than last year so he can rush 4, get there and keep 7 in coverage,..

But it aint so-- at some point we have to get aggressive.

That was Luke of year's past.  Now he is just trying to be an average starter.  Sure, he helps with communication, but that is the MLB's job.
