That's if he doesn't over throw the wr

What's the old QB saying?  If I'm long, I'm never wrong . . . I think?  :)

Nevertheless, if he overthrows, we come back to the next play.  No INT.  Actually, I think we would have punted.  It was 3rd and 17 and an overthrow we punt . . . . maybe it goes in the end zone, maybe we down it inside the 10 . . . but I don't think the INT really made a huge difference tactically.  With that down and distance, taking a long shot is actually a pretty good call.

I do think it may have had significant momentum implications.

3 points, line got crushed and cam had no time to throw and was trying to make something out of nothing (FWIW, this is what Russell Wilson does and for some reason they all fall).  Second, yes his arm got hit causing the duck.  Lastly, and most importantly, we were around midfield, that INT was a defacto punt because it was 3rd down.  No one on the team freaked out nor should they have.  Had it fallen Incomplete, the ensuing punt likely gets them at the 20 instead of at the 30, not enough difference for me to care about taking an aggressive shot.

Yeah, it was hit, and as usual, the INT wasn't his fault...  very few are.  That being said. I haven't given much throught to Cam's post-surgery arm strength, but now that you've mentioned it, I'm starting to wonder if maybe that has played into the lack of 20+ yard attempts and completions since the surgery?

He still definitely appears to have the same ball speed, but I've never really thought about actual arm strength and how far he can efficiently throw since the surgery.

Luck does too, and actually is 2nd in TD's (first in picks) and had the same injury. He did throw one up there but even if it's the shoulder, it's been over a year. Need to start testing it again. I still think there hasn't been enough deep passes the past two years b/c our offensive line is absolute poo. Maybe Ron believes if we scored like we did in 2015 that we will give up those leads. I hate that we have the most boring and non-explosive offense in football. It's a bad spread offense from western kentucky with CUCKED skill players.

Cam has 4 interceptions this year.

One in Game 2 against the Falcons that hit C.J. Anderson right in the hands and bounced off.

Two in Game 4 against the Giants that were arguably a rookie TE running bad patterns.

One in Game 5 against the Redskins where his arm was hit by a DL in a collapsing pocket.

So four interceptions that could arguably be zero interceptions and a 66% completion percentage.

And yesterday, in the game thread, there were people talking about how inaccurate he is.
