Panther’s offense will need to win games for us now

Oline is ranked above average. With injuries. And that’s just after week 6 but I’d wager that if we’re just talking the latter half of that, they’d be even higher. (No injuries, amini or Kalil)

We have weapons. We have a workable offensive line. Cam has time, he is playing well. Defense is playing slightly below average compared to the rest of the league as of week 6. Offense as a whole? Above average.

Seems investing in in the offense in the past drafts (and/or defensive picks busting big time) the Panthers play on the field is headed towards needing the offense to win games now, not the defense.

This is not Ron or Norv’s game. They will have to adjust and unleash this offense, and not rely on the defense in order to make the playoffs his year. Our offense is built to win games for us now.

Was the case going into the season, but the offense is cucked on ball control and short passing. We been exposed. 6-10.

    5 games in is too early for absolutes. Did folks actually think there would be no learning curve with having two new Coordinators?

Can understand a learning curve with Norv and the offense but it’s not like Washington installed a 3-4. Defense should be outplaying the offense right now.

Doubt Washington has called plays before. May take him a bit to adjust to that. Definitely concerning though.

    Then why did Rivera give him the job? Let the guy go learn the ropes somewhere else. We are trying to win Ships up in here. Our D has sucked so far. Maybe Washington just isn't up to the task.

Same reason we drafted DJ Moore instead of Calvin Ridley?

Maybe he didn’t see any other guys out there that were experienced and familiar with our system? Also you can’t just send a guy out to get playcalling experience as an NFL DC and if you do and he’s good why would he come back for a side grade job?
