Some genuine trash in this fan base. Will honor a football player who has done nothing for you but spit on the graves of those who gave their lives for you to feel whatever way you want.

no american soldier has given their lives for american freedom since WWII. honoring the fallen troops is a politically motivated advertising tool paid for by the military. it is inherently political.

you are welcome to consider my views trash, but stop bitching about politics in sports when you're fine with them as long as they're your politics.

You honestly don't believe that do you? Take more than a second to ponder the variety of deaths throughout the past 70ish years.

Hell, even a training death should be considered a casualty of protecting our nation.

If you think that freedom isn’t a dynamic movement I can’t help you. Nothing is fought for and won permanently, especially the liberty we share every day in this country.

Really interested in your opinion on what political agenda is to be gained from a fallen soldier who gave their life for their country?

Wasting your time with some of these people. A coherent thought is a scarcity on this board in recent times.

Imagine calling fallen heroes "political" or "propaganda" and still viewing yourself as ethical

the military and foreign intervention is inherently political. every war since WW2 has been interventionist in nature with a profit-motive as impetus and not "muh freedoms."

encouraging nationalist/jingoist sentiments, the strengthening of the military-industrial complex (budget increases, defense contracts), furthering economic interests of the elite by interfering with sovereign nations.

Even if your argument holds water, the NFL isn’t having a “profit-motive interventionalisr war day.” It’s a day to honor fallen heroes.

So you think that the NFL is promoting violence against other countries? Is that really what you get out of salute to service week? That’s asinine.
