tomorrow Panthers honor fallen soldiers

Man it didn't take long for this to turn into a "Who has the bigger D" contest. I personally choose to honor the people who join our military and serve their time honorably as well as those who fall while doing so. I know many people join up with the idea that they don't know what battles may face them, if they will even see combat, nor where but they are ready to put their lives on the line should they be needed or if the battle were to ever come to us or threaten our countries liberties. I commend the idea that while they haven't had to battle directly for our freedom, they are prepared to.  I'm happy the team is doing this as you can see just how much it means to the families of those who have fallen. Even if the business sides of the NFL is doing it for money and publicity, you can tell that the players themselves are touched and feel honored to do this for these families.

So no kneeling, no salutes. Got it.

Just beer and good times!

sports and politics have always intersected and i'm fine with that. i'm making fun of the ridiculous suggestion that kneeling is the only political act in the NFL when politics are written into the fabric of its advertising, rituals, PR, and anything else you can think of

no and the fact that that is what you got out of my response really proves all i need to know about your ability to read or think critically.

I obviously didn’t take that context out of what you wrote. Your goonies have been doing this to me all over this thread, however. We should be able to have a discussion without throwing out derogatory marks and inferences. Inferences like my ability to “read and think critically.” I didn’t earn my doctorate by under analyzing and parading bias like so many on here who would actually derail a thread honoring the deaths of people who served the country that they live in just to prove a point about politics in football. It’s disgusting.

Did your doctorate come from Trump University? Sad!

With so many political sites and forums I truly wonder why so many posters here spend time will this drivel on a football forum and the tinderbox.

I’ll take it even further to say if you’re a tinderbox regular you have some issues...just an observation

Answer is obvious guess I’ll point it out.

People don’t come to the huddle for debates.  Even in this thread the tinderbox babies cry about not being educated so don’t debate. This is a football forum, not a political forum. Much easier to prey on and ‘win’ a pointless online debate with someone who comes here for football and isn’t educated in a subject. Tinderbox cry babies can handle a real debate on a legitimate political site where the more informed and educated are responding to them. So they flame here like cry baby little trolls thinking they’re changing their minds and making a difference.
