Who is a better coaching candidate for Panthers than Mike McCarthy?

Jim Harbaugh would be my pick as well. He has a few players upset? That may not be the worse thing. When coaches demand a lot out of their players and coach discipline, some players will get their feathers ruffled. The guy had Kap playing like a Pro Bowler. The owner of the Niners didn’t like him and ultimately drove him out.

harbaugh wears people out (jim).    that's why i don't want him.  peak and crash.   peak and crash.  now i do like what he's doing with his players before the season.  i'm sure a lot of folks would never have had the opportunity to travel internationally like that and experience what they have.  i won't.

The only thing I'll say for Jim Harbaugh is this.

Everybody this offseason is going to be looking for a young offensive mind. Sometimes you can find success by buying when everyone is selling. Or in this case by going with defense when everyone is looking offense. Especially a defensive guy who has spent the last few seasons stopping the very college offenses (well except for OSU) which are filtering up more and more to the pro game.

Who cares if we crash as long as he brings us to a SB to win it and get our first Lombardi and then do the crash party.

and y'all keep saying he's won everywhere.   he hasn't won shite.   nothing.  he has won absolutely zero!    he can't win at the college level, he can't win at the pro level.  not even with a team singletary stacked to the gills.

Not his fault the Packers refused to put any talent alongside Rodgers. People forget that he has a ring and only 2 losing seasons prior to this year.

I wouldn’t oppose the hire.

People also forget that Rodgers consistently hamstrung the team with huge contracts and kept pushing the offense— that really kept big names off the defense.

he has won only 4 games this yr with Aaron rogers....dont want him

Aaron has played like trash after coming back from his injury— and the team made him the highest paid QB ever after a huge injury—

the GM did that,.. and it screwed the team.

Years ago Ted Thompson screwed the Packers in 2006– they could seriously have won a second Super Bowl with Favre— Randy Moss was blowing kisses and they let him go to NE for peanuts,..

Mike is a great coach and I’d be happy if we got him.

actually I will laugh if the Packers hire Ron,.. we flip flop ha

that's not true about aaron.   not at all.

This is like a “I know you are but what am I” things,...right?

i have a much lower opinion than a lot of people do about Aaron Rodgers...

Green Bay fans will figure that out when Rodgers has a lesser coach to help him.

people say Rodgers helped McCarthy,.. but I believe it’s the other way. Aaron for me has done nothing, hasn’t broken any records,.. but somehow is talked about like Joe Montana or something. He can’t hold Brett Favres jock strap,..

anyway— Mike MCCarthy is a great coach,.. and he would make the Panthers better.
