I agree, with this game you have to look at the intangibles.

A. Cockiness- The broom and wine incident. It just never ends well for the team that does stuff like that to the other team they are about to play.  Havent seen it since Norman left...

B. Just the law of probabilities, it’s hard enough to beat a team twice. Three times? Ok, lightning in a bottle, a 4th though?! I’m sorry, but the probabilities aren’t in the Saints favor on that one.        In high school, for a math experiment,  i flipped a coin 50 times...at one point i hit 9 tails in a row...

C. Motivation- This team feels motivated and Rivera loves the underdog role. Hence the shirt he wore about only having a 5% chance to make the playoffs, he’s been talking about that all week.   Motivation and Rivera do not belong in the same sentence.

D. The elements- We will be the 3rd consecutive road game on a chilly Charlotte night against a Saints team that has been playing suspect the last few weeks to say the least.   Unless its snowing...like 8 inches, (measurment with significance) this will not be a factor...if so...we have a hell of a run game.

Agian, on paper yes technically they definitely have the upper hand, but the Panthers have the intangibles in spades on this game. We are winning...Expect an azz whoppin....but on any givin Sunday we can win...if we can pull it off...i'll even be more pissed at Rivera...

    • Lil Stanky 100% in the dot tonight... And our 2nd line has been our best offensive line this season. Maybe our 2C really was on the roster this whole time...?
    • That’s a grade I kind of expected tbh. I’m not a huge fan of NS, but he’s not as bad as what the huddle says he is minus the horrible game he had vs the Rams. I’ve always thought he’s often used as a scapegoat. The improved pass rush should hide his deficiencies a little bit better if he’s the game one starter. FS might have to be a position we punt on this year unless Thieneman falls to us at 19. The reality is, you're going to have a few average players in certain spots for a team with as many holes we had before free agency started. You can’t sign everyone.
    • I am by no means trying to say he's a world beater. I'm saying it's trending in the right direction. Especially when measured against himself.i think the team feel the same way or else they wouldn't have picked up his option. Plus I think there is a new idea in the NFL about these young QBs. Teams give up to soon. Browns gave up to soon on baker same with the jets on Geno and darnold. Maybe they are who you thought they were in the draft process and they need more time to develop than you originally planned. Either way. I do think he is as capable as darnold is as far as you can win a championship with him. And something he does have that darnold doesn't is he is clutch.  If I need one more drive and 2 mins to go I'm betting on Bryce and I am far from a homer, just going off his game winning drives. He has that dog in him on the last drive.
