NFL defensive coordinators are all very smart and know more about football than all of us put together could ever hope to know.

If I can see it, I know for certain they can see it.

Many on this board for some reason couldn't, or decided to blame it on the line, or Norv, or Ron or whatever...but not the shoulder of Cam Newton...seems really weird.

Random NFL DC:  Hmmmmmm, Cam Newton is totally healthy and has decided not to push the ball downfield at all lately...that's weird...but even more weird is the fact that they have Norv in there, and he has decided to stop pushing the ball after a 30+ year career known for pushing the ball.  OK, guess I'll just keep playing them the same way.

This was no big secret if you were paying attention.  Newton has been struggling with his throws ever since his surgery.  I noticed it the last few games of last year.  I could see it in his face when he threw that something was wrong then but it wasn't effecting his accuracy that much at the time.   But this season it progressively got worse and now here we are.

Go back to week 5 and try saying that Cam can't throw the long ball, that something isn't right with him.

Ironic that Cam said he was playing the best football of his career just a few weeks ago.
