Davis is worth more than vet min imo.  2.5m with maybe some incentives up to 3m for another year would be fair to the team and him and Id be happy to have him back for that.  He could get more somewhere else though probably and if he gets a better offer we should part ways.

He's still an excellent OLB but at age 36, we simply have to move on. Shaq is the future and Jermaine Carter and Andre Smith were drafted towards an eye for next year.

Enough of Thomas Davis. 

He said after he signed his last contract that he intended to play through it and wouldn’t ask for new deal. He then bitched and complained and led to getting Gettleman fired.

he then said 2018 would “definitely” be his final season. Then he stated he wanted to come back.

he then said he would never player for any other team other than the panthers. Now he’s hinting he could go somewhere else. Enough of him. Thank you for the memories and go somewhere else.

How about you follow through on your word for once? How about you stop constantly bringing up everything through the media? How about you don’t get take performance enhancing drugs? How about you don’t bring it up after your team choked away a 6-2 start where thy have been 3-7 with you in the line up?

I can't remember the exact contract details, but guud old JR&herniay gave TD a 5 year deal for 35 million AFTER his 3rd knee injury. When no other team would have come within 10% of that, most wouldn't offer anything to him.

I'm a TD supporter and fan, but that was a chickshiit excuse about testing positive for PEDs. "I took a tainted supplement blah blah" Well TD clear your name and get it tested........." Nah it's my homies company, that would kill his business"....... SURE TD just like when ray lewis said he took deer antler spray and the sales when up 4,000+ percent in the nest weeks.....

 

Panther's stood by TD when every single other would have moved on. Seems TD wants another payday and not wanting to play for the Panthers. He could easily prove me wrong by signing a nice low cap team friendly deal, nah its always about the money. 100% of the time.
