I also attribute that with college block schemes too that don’t teach anything other than “block the guy in front of you”.

Interestingly enough though, most of the innovation of the game has been coming at the collegiate level for awhile now. None of the top NFL offenses are what would be considered a traditional "pro style" offense. They look a lot more like college spread attacks.

Oh for sure which I won’t complain about at all. I think it will still take a little bit for OL to translate.

Clowney just lacks the motivation this has nothing to do with juicing in college then cleaning up. Talking to one of his teammates in college and in the NFL he said that Clowney is just a freak of nature but doesn’t really put the effort in. Just naturally a monster but could be so much better if he put in the work to be great.

I don't claim to know for sure one way or the other.  Only that he looked like a monster in college and then looked smaller once he got drafted.  Also, the injuries started to pile up when he was drafted as well.  Steroids tend to cause injury issues when you get off them due to the stress they put on your joints.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if this was true. Clowney has very rare physical traits but his production (even in college) has never measured up to his talent.
