Were going to drop a poo ton in the draft rankings today. Probably to 16. Sean Payton is playing 4D chess rn by tanking this game and hurting a divisional rival and our coach prob put more thought into this one than sb 50.

You might as well blame the players for wanting to win too.

I mean to be fair, no coach is going to tell his players go out there and lose

No but that is why you pull all of your starters because the game is meaningless (which Rivera did) and then call a super vanilla game plan like you would in a preseason game. Instead we’re out here calling time outs to set up a field goal before half time when we’re already up 20. It’s fuging stupid anyway you look at it.

How is he a bad fan for not wanting to win this preseason game?

He's a bad fan for not understanding that Ron is playing backups and young players who are playing for a career and tape.. What do you expect them to do ?? Be terrible so they can help the team get a higher draft pick on a team they might not be on next year??lol

Most the team is hurt anyway. Rookies are getting snaps , Allen is getting snaps that isn't stupid some players need this.

The coach is payed to do what’s best for the team. Ron failed again. Sean wins.... again.

Yay we beat a team that tanked, that’s awesome.

Meh I won't argue with this, but my point still remains. A top 15 pick, a good overall draft and a good FA is good enough. If we're depending on a top 10 pick to make the playoffs and push to the SB, we need to replace Ron. This man somehow someway find ways to remain. The last time the Saints picked top 10, was 2008, Sedrick Ellis and he didn't do poo. They're sitting at number 1 in the NFC

We’re not arguing what will make us a Super Bowl contender because I’m sure we all agree one draft and offseason with Rivera still at the helm isn’t getting us anywhere.

To argue winning a meaningless game over getting a top 10 pick is just dumb. Pick 7 vs pick 16 is huge. High draft picks are way too valuable in this league.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
