I said this a month ago when all of the “experts” around this place acted like they were Teppers personal confidant or had “sources” that knew exactly what this billionaires plans were.

now that discussion is over so we can speculate on whether a VP or GM or both happen for now.

Updating an earlier report, Mike Silver confirmed Panthers coach Ron Rivera was told he'll return to the team in 2019.

Panthers finished the year 1-7 over the team's final eight games, but their meaningless Week 17 win over New Orleans' backups had little to do with Rivera's return. Given 'outs' of Cam Newton's ailing shoulder and an offense infused with developing youth, Rivera will likely have at least one more year to right the ship and bring Carolina back to prominency. Cam Newton, Christian McCaffrey, D.J. Moore, Curtis Samuel, and Greg Olsen are all expected to return on offense in 2019.

this sucks.   not building my sundays around the team again til he's gone.  f you tepper.   you're gonna have to make him get a defensive and special teams coordinators that are really good.  they have to be good enough to compensate for rr's in game decision making.    why not just do it all.

Every LaCanfora report on this suggests Tepper  changed his mind when he started to interview Rivera's league bronies, in which case Tepper is an idiot.

League Bros would never suggest Rivera be fired because League Bros don't care if the Panthers are good.

I don't understand how somebody with zero clout to fall back on can survive the worst collapse in league memory

5 minutes ago, Chaos said:

Fug outta here all posters calling people bandwagon for being pissed at Rivera's return. Y'all be happy with mediocrity, that's fine, but to hell with being pissed at fans who want to improve.  Y'all probably tell people to sit down at the games. Smfh

Agreed.  Besides, no longer following a sport does not make someone a bandwagon fan.  It is not like they are switching allegiances or something.
