Since 1995 I've never heard them leak who they are interested in.  There is no reason to do that.

I'd be willing to trade like a 5th or 6th for Quinn. We need a starting caliber end and there aren't that many options out there. Don't want to have to rely on a draft pick to start on day one.

Verrett would be interesting if he comes super cheap given his injury history.

Everything else on this list is a joke / Weddle already signed with the Rams.

Boy some of you are just negative. 

There are some interesting names on the list. Of course when you're shopping in the bargain bin, you're not necessarily going to get the current, high-priced name brand items, but you can find something old, incomplete, damaged, or even broken (but fixable) that may work for your specific situation. 

Quinn and Verrett are especially interesting. Hell, a healthy Eifert should offer plenty of excitement for any team and fan base. Morris would be kind of a meh signing on it's face, but he'd check a block for at least depth.

Weddle? Would have loved to have him, but let's not act like there might not be better values out there, as Weddle is 34. He doesn't exactly check the box for a team that's trying to get younger and faster on defense, and due to his body of work over the years, most certainly comes at a higher price.

If the panthers don't choke down the Hard To Swallow pill on what it takes to win in the current NFL and sign starting caliber players in free agency, then those same teams will be laughing at us come February

I've been saying that Alfred Morris would be solid if we don't get a young hammerhead in the later rounds :3

Though maybe we can sign Morris and then draft Bryce Love as a true back-up to CMC or whatever other runner the staff has their eye on

The team who just won the super bowl is the absolute pinnacle of what I'm talking about. The patriots have been at the forefront using free agency and trades to add major talent and win super bowls. Stephen Gilmore was the best CB in the league last season and just won super bowl MVP (okay so not literally in the case of the latter). That was the worst possible example you couldve cited and trying to coyly condense their modus operandi into one offseason suggests you know that.
