No thanks. Too many durability concerns to trade a high pick and then hand him a huge contract. Just too risky. I would've rather made a move for Frank Clark if we were going to trade for a vet.

I mean if you can’t see that the guy is a great player outside of that hit I don’t really know what to tell you.   He finished 5th for the heisman several weeks before that hit as a sophomore and also had 5 sacks in the game before that hit against Clemson.  Recruiting services to this day still say he’s the best player they’ve ever seen coming up.  Has he matched all the hype to this point? Definitely not, but he’s still one of the top DEs in the game
