Some people dont know our struggles they think Cam hurt his own shoulder celebrating not because of poor protection.

Answer is all of the above.

Running Cam like he’s the Bus 2.0 instead of our franchise QB, poor oline protection every other year didn’t help, Cam holding on the the ball too long trying to make a play have all contributed.

2015 is still his best year. He did have arguable the best oline in the NFL that year however he also didn’t hold on to the ball and rarely stared anyone down. If the play wasn’t there he’d dump it off or throw it away.

I never though he didn’t have weapons because he’s better than a Matt Ryan needing a Julio. A consistent oline and smarter decision making will give the Panthers a top 5 offense.

On topic, apparently Kalil has actually had a solid camp performance and only struggles vs. Watt, which anyone would.

If that translates to game time however is yet to be seen.

If he works and tries really really hard and musters up all his strength and will to care and is indeed healthy and dabs a tad into PED’s he might work up to being average.

This was a very clear assessment of Cams running that bus 2.0 extra hilarious.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
