  So he should go back in time and use context of a situation 6 months later? And when was the proper time for that message to ownership. When Luck has no idea his current injury would get worse. When he had no idea he would miss significant time? 

   Yes or No? Was the information available to Luck, regarding his health, the same in March as it is now? That’s the only question that matters in your screw the team scenario.

The NFL will drop any player like a hat if he is in decline and they do anything to avoid guaranteed contracts. Luck doesn't owe anybody anything.

I prob have more respect for Luck now, making this choice was hard and best for him.  Sacrifices million and his public image but it’s the right thing to do.
