Everyone here acted like Ryan Vermilliion cut his foot off with a chainsaw or something when it was patently apparent we weren’t going to risk playing him any more when the Pats are rushing 8 people in a preseason game.

That is what pissed me off.  What the h*ll Belicheat?  He blitzed like a spamer playing a video game.  We were out there trying to be vanilla and do some evaluating.  Also, what is was up with that retirement thread about Cam after Luck called it quits?  That is banishment worthy.  Retirement over mild foot sprain.

Nice. Now let's hope that Paradis is ready to go and doesn't get straight bodied by Aaron Donald because based on how he's gotten tossed around in the preseason, I'd be lining Donald up right over the nose on every early passing down to give him a good test.

It was extremely unsporting from Belichick. The entire point of preseason is to get a rhythm and work through bugs, not to win games. Everyone knows this, and that’s why both sides operate at less than full strength. Running what Belichick did was incredibly uncool.

Yeah, the constant blitzing rubbed me the wrong way too, but maybe the Pats' needed a better look at their blitz packages?

We always complain about Pats defense in preseason. I think it’s good for our o-line to get blitzed like crazy. They need the tape and the practice feeling the urgency. Sucks that Cam got hurt but he’ll bounce back.

I'm more concerned about Rivera v McVay.

I like Ron a lot for his positive qualities, but this just seems like a coaching match-up that doesn't favor him.

For all Rivera's leadership, he's not a nimble coach. McVay might do a dance on ole stable Ron. Obviously I hope not though.
