After tonight's game, who makes the team and who gets cut?

I think we go with 5 WR's and cut Terry Godwin.

My concern is that he is not explosive enough as a returner to justify a spot, and he's only going to see time at WR is there are injuries.

I also think we can stash him on the practice squad.  I still like the pick and think he can develop into a quality possession receiver.  He has good hands and runs good routes, just doesn't have top-end speed.

I am interested in Kunaszyke. I know he has a slim chance for a roster spot but he looks like diamond in the rough.

I think he will end up on the practice squad, although I would take him over Norris on the 53. His movements in coverage and the way he attacks the ball carrier remind me a little bit of Luke.

I think Bonnafon is going to get serious consideration for a roster spot.  Rivera has reiterated again and again they were looking for someone who has a similar skill set to CMC, and Bonnafon is probably the closest to that.

I still think CAP is a lot more solid than people won't to give credit for though.  I think at this point Bonnafon has more upside, but I don't know if they think his pass protection is enough to justify him getting the spot.

To me at this point, though, I think he is a better returner (more explosive) than Godwin, and we have Armah to use in pass protection.  I would vote for Bonnafon for RB3.

I think Holyfield is the odd man out, but I think he will be on the PS if we cut CAP

Bonnafon looks good, solid...prefer over CAP at this point

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
