Bradberry couldnt make a game saving tackle on gurley on that last rams drive.

And how the hell is Short rated higher than CMC? Did Short, poe and McCoy even play yesterday?

Short was dominant on a drive in the first half

I'd have to check but I don't McCoy logged that many snaps.  Was expecting more.

Also, Shaq (like Thomas Davis) apparently has figured it after a relatively slow start to his career bc he looked like the perfect modern day LB he was drafted to be yesterday. I remember lots of folks were down on TD and considered him average til we changed our Defense and started using him like Derrick Brooks a couple years into his career.

Sometimes you need a contract year to get a few first round talents to play up to their potential. That's life.

How you watch and grade that game and give CMC an 83 is baffling.

What does he have to do?  Throw and catch a TD to himself doing backflips over defenders and step on their hands just to get the broken tackle stat?

I said it in the game thread but that TD where he ran over 2 guys, pounded his fist in the ground 2 times while stretching for the goal line and not letting his knees touch was some wizardry I still cant fully grasp.

Y'all shouldn't take PFF as the absolute gospel but it does validate some things. Daryl Williams isn't elite but he holds up well for the most part and PFF likes him. My eyes saw Bradbury, Short, and Shaq all playing well but giving up plays due to being on the field too much. I feel good about this defense and our skill guys

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
