Cam Newton was absolutely atrocious

Let’s quit the “clearly hurt” dick riding of cam newton. Cam is an average QB who at times plays elite. If he doesn’t run he is at best a below average QB as seen tonight and last week.

Its time to move this franchise in a different direction. We know who Cam is and quite frankly, it’s just not cutting it on a consistent weekly basis.

I don't care about how much some may defend him, he's done so much for this franchise, but his play tn with this coaching staff will result in a cascade of losses.  Factor in the OL play to the left and we're going to have some MAJOR issues.  This wasn't even a great defense, just one who knew how to attack our offensive weaknesses without Cam running.

Yes, it COULD very well result in a cascade of losses. The reason: Cam is a guy that feeds off momentum, his confidence is WAY down and you can see it. Sometimes a team needs to help its QB, guys have to step up and become PLAYMAKERS... We DO NOT have that on this team right now, zero swagger AT ALL. We need these young guys to step up and make some Steve Smith like plays. On defense we seem to just be 1 step away from all the breaks, just like Kuechly dropping that int. (yes, I know it wouldn't have counted because after McCoy claimed all week this game didn't mean anything, decided to get very emotional and got a 15 yard penalty, which killed the D's momentum on that drive), which is just another example. This team has forgotten how to win... We look like that team in 2011 to 2013 when they were trying to learn how to finish and win ( actually look worse because they cannot even start). So now, the Panthers put themselves in a high pressure situation where EVERY game is a "must win" 3 weeks into the season after opening with 2 games AT HOME... Yes, a SH*T avalanche could very well happen.

Just now, Mr. Scot said:

My Plan B is Not Ron and Marty.

I am open for change.... rivera’s Defense played will enough to win... maybe he is really a DC? Do you think the offensive play calling killed us? If you have a team held under 20 the way the NFL is now I think I think that is a win... go on record.... Turner or Cam?

I think Ron Rivera is one of the greatest guys you could ever meet.

But he's just not cut out to be a head coach.

    • I am high, but that’s besides the point! The blue line is not good right now. I’ve said it all year. I don’t think this group meshes well. Slaven has been just OK Niki up and down Miller up and down ghost and Walker have been your most consistent guys. Maybe it comes together more towards the playoffs
    • I was expecting to see more cap room moves by now, which may be to suggest that we are not going to be that aggressive.  I have mixed emotions about that (because I think we have 3 needs on D and 3 needs on O--starters).  If you look to the draft for 3 starters, that is ambitious.  We need 6
    • Yeah we shouldn’t be competing with teams, bidding wise, to sign a WR. There will be one for us and our budget.  I keep saying, how many balls will there be to go around anyway? One thing good I will say for this offense is the ball has been spread around at times. Seems like I remember seeing a large number of guys have caught passes in a game. Or been targeted at least. 3 RBs 4 or 5 WRs 2-3 TEs type of stat lines. 10-11 guys.  Not every week but that happens.    As far as WR in general, we need the smaller agile and quicker component to compliment what is there. After that it should be about depth, having good backups for the starters so we can run things consistently still, if a guy is out for a week or two. That is especially important in game where you have to finish the game with who you made active.
