Is there a Camspiracy?

Listened to Ron’s presser where Person asked him if Cam’s foot WAS SUCH that he can’t run.

Ron’s answer was “his foot is not such... we don’t trust the”... and then stopped.

What is it that Ron and probably Hurney don’t trust? Is his shoulder worse than they told us?

Gotta be the shoulder, right?  They are deathly afraid of Cam taking a bad hit to his shoulder?  If there is nothing wrong with his legs or his head, this has got to be the answer.

Old Samurai folklore was that those go to battle trying not to die get killed first and those who go with no fear of death are often those who come back.

telling someone to play not to get hurt causes injury.

doesn't mean you have to play like a battering ram but you go out and play hard and have fun.

i can’t wait until this coaching staff is gone.

You must be listening to WFNZ too.

I think the "trust" thing was just a simple slip of the tongue, much ado about nothing.

Tell you what I have seen for sure, in the last 24 hours the narrative about Cam has completely switch to his mental state.

Darrin Gantt just said he is "broken"....."not having any fun".

As for the shoulder, absolutely it's worse than they have been telling you...this has been true the first moment Rivera went on the record post-surgery.  Cam has an arthritic shoulder joint which has undergone 2 surgeries....he's a 30yr old with a 52yr old shoulder.

it definitely is something to think about. i know he was younger..BUT --- when he was playing full speed ahead and initiating contact on his runs he didnt seem to be getting hurt. it wasnt until he started playing to "protect himself" that the injuries started coming

Yeh, I always go back to Brett Favre as a great example, Brady now too...

they play having fun to the max.

Cam was like that and this staff got into his head to hold back,.. boom,.. hurt.

Play with no fear, play hard and have fun. Most of the time no injuries.

there are exceptions to that. michael Vick, Carson Wentz, Javad Best etc. fragility does go into heavily. So I’m not saying it’s a law or something.

just an observation. It also seems like the teams that treat the offseason that way, don’t get hurt don’t get hurt don’t get hurt,..

they have the most injuries

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
