Cardinals week, thoughts and predictions

Cam's out

Time to move onto this week

Keys im watching

How we matchup aginst Kingsbury offense.

Cardinals have one of the worst OL in the league (unfortunately so did Tampa).  And David Johnson is dinged up.  So expecting their Running game to be shut down

The passing game.

Christian Kirk is solid and quietly put together just as nice of a opening of his career as DJ Moore.

What scares me- Larry Fitzgerald.  He has been working out of the slot a Lot

http://www.nfl.com/fantasyfootball/story/0ap3000001053835/article/slot-report-week-2-big-season-ahead-for-fitzgerald

Our Nickel CB.has been less than ideal this season.  And if we are not able to generate pressure Fitzgerald is going to be in for a monster game

Last year the Cardinals were last in the league in run D and didnt go out and bring anyone in to improve

So expecting a heavy heavy dose of CMC

In the passing game, the Cardinals have given up back to back 100 yards performances from TEs.  So if our OL can hold off Chandler Jones, this could be a big game for Olsen

Another cool storyline

Allen vs Murray

Allen wa the top QB out of HS went to Texas A&M.  Also 2 years later?  Another highly ranked QB cane to A&M,  that kid was Kyler Murray

Allen started and was leading the SEC in efficiency.  When he went down later in the season, Kyler took over and the rest is history.  Allen went to move on from A&M

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
