Panthers underdogs at Texans

I feel confident against their offense.  I know I'm in the minority but I really don't think our defense has been that bad this year.  It is kind of frustrating to watch teams dink and dunk against us, but I have long accepted that is what will happen against us.  We held the Bucs to 20 despite our offense being incompetent.  Rams didn't even do much against us except benefit from great field position because of our offense - we held them to 183 passing yards, their lowest output this season.  And I thought we held the Cards offense in check for the most part, especially on the road against a really weird offense.

Bradberry has always done very well against bigger WRs, so hopefully that is the match-up we get and put Jackson on Fuller.  My biggest fear is Hopkins on Jackson... because Hopkins would OWN Jackson.  They don't have much of a running game to be afraid of and their offensive line is slightly improved but still bad.

This game, like all of our games this season, will come down to the performance of the QB.

Their OL is among the worst in the league, our pass rush should be able to build on the momentum from last game. And their D really sucks aside from 2 players: Watt and Mercilus. Scheme the OL to stop them and it shouldn’t be too hard to score on them.

Put Bradberry on Hopkins, Donte on Fuller. Have pass rushers run straight up the field to limit Watson's scrambling ability. DO NOT play that soft fuggin zone or Watson and Hopkins is going to eat. Don't turn the ball over. We do all this and we have a good chance. Their running game is not scary at all with Hyde and Duke. Man them up and make Watson throw perfect passes. If we play them like we did Kyler for the 1st 3 quarters, they are going to put up 30+.

We should fix the scrambling issue but Watson only scrambles when he has to where Murray was not got in the pocket yesterday. Part was good coverage but this will be one of the better offenses we face for the next few weeks,. I say in Houston, all things given, 4 points is pretty bait fair. Panthers are a wild card right now but I guarantee the general public is not buying us yet, at least compared to quite a few of our fans. People will probably jump on Houston pretty quick.
