Sound off - Official Panthers at Bucs Predictions Thread

Bucs smartly targeted CMC the first time around and will do the same this time, especially with our horrible Oline situation.

Oline will make it tough for Allen as it will all be on his shoulders.  CMC will best be used as a decoy this week to open up holes for others.

Their Oline is also banged up, so I see opportunities for some pressure.

Pivitol point for me is us stopping their run game.  We did not do well with that in Charlotte.

Probably come down to the battle of turnovers.  Win that and win the game

I agree with this. I think another big thing for us will be can other offensive weapons step up? This is a game we really need Moore and Samuel to produce. Allen clearly won’t have all day to throw so these guys need to YAC it up and make some people miss.

I agree with this statement. Moore Samuel And Cmc need to get into the secondary. The Bucs secondary lacks speed and all 3 guys can outrun them.

    • I simply acknowledge BY is the QB.  And just like we did when we drafted him.....the type O you would need to setup around him for success was always pretty simple.  But we have done virtually the opposite.  XL dropping some passes isn't why we were ranked the 32nd O and 30th passing the past 2 years.  *Ricky Prohel was brought up only in regards to role function he served on the team.  Niche/specialist.   He wasn't eating up the snaps in the O.    AT should have a similar snap %. People could MAUL Ricky Prohel and put hands all over him.   We got to the Super Bowl in part because we were mauling guys (our slot CB).   You can't do that now.  AT has a MUCH easier life and still can't get open.  Or run.    If you live in 3 WR sets, with a weak armed QB, and you choose to put someone who can't get open or run in the slot.......well, your are going to have a weak pass O.  That's by design IMO.
    • Thielen's yards per reception was higher last year than any of Renfrows career.  His per game productivity last year as an old slow receiver the same as Renfrows 1 good season. These things are easy to find.
    • With 1 more game but yeah hopefully Canales is better, obviously Rhule sucked. Better than Reich though and jury out on DC. Of course Wilks’ interim stint was the best we’ve had since 2017 but I give Tepper zero credit for that
