All of this is irrelevant because Cam is going to be back when he's healthy and start for us next year. As it should be.

Just throwing this out there for fodder, but Cam's cap number next year...the last year of his deal is $21 million and the team is projected to have $46 million based on players under contract (36 without Cam).  That would give this team about $67 million under the cap to start the offseason.  Think of the players we could sign and re-sign!  All this is totally hypothetical of course.

Yes, 3 bad games in a row when no reports /questions about your health disrupting your playing ability is a telling sign you’re trash lol. Your commitment to being intellectually dishonest in efforts to trash #1 is mind blowing

Mayfield has always sucked. Also your "franchise qb" team list was garbage. Assuming Cam is healthy, there will be a giant market for him if we are dumb enough to trade him.

Of course Allen will get a new deal if he's the starter next year, but if you think his market is $20 million, you are smoking something.  You can't equate a former first round QB deal in his prime to a undrafted QB no matter how good he does.  Only if Allen delivers this team a Super Bowl could he even dream of getting that kind of money.

Could also see Cam going to NE, sitting behind Brady for a year or two to get 100% healthy, Brady retires, Cam wins 6 SBs with a team that actually cares about building protecting the QB

If Cam is worth as much as some of you are suggesting, it would be suicidal to trade him. We get Cam healthy, and continue to let Allen collect draft capital and trade him ala Jimmy G.

20 million will be the absolute low end for anyone who is a borderline starter

if we do, can we please send him to an organization that will give him amazing coaches, an amazing line and amazing weapons so we can see him reach his full potential? That's all he has missed from playing here.
