While I understand that a team can only beat the teams you play, that 49ers record may be a bit of a mirage. I will say that their defense appears to be for real albeit against subpar teams. However, the team's that the 49ers have beaten are the Bucs, Bengals, Steelers (with Rudolph at QB), Browns, and Rams. Between the 5 teams, they have 7 wins. On top of that, they play a 1 win Redskins team next week. We will have two week to prepare for our match-up with them.

I have seen GB play twice and while their defense seems greatly improved, their offense was not impressive in either game I watched. Hopefully, the weather cooperates for us.

Yeah.  I agree.  Defense and running game travels and we have both.  Giddy up!

Chiefs also have a banged up Mahomes and a bad defense.

I know we are just the lowly panthers, we cant beat any good teams surely.....im not sure how some of you guys even consider yourself panthers fans, its like every time someone says anything good about the team you guys have some kind of obnoxious quip.

Every single year someone makes a thread saying 10-6 isn’t good enough to make the playoffs in the NFC...and then a 9-7 team gets in (just like last year).

it’s way too early to determine what record will be needed to get in.  A lot of these “top tier” teams play each other still...

The way i see they're all winnable except for that Titans game. We never beat the titans much like we never beat the Steelers. This defense can carry the load but if Cam comes back and the offense stalls and he does jack squat and Rivera won't go back to Kyle, that's going to be the problem.

We only beat the Titans if we thrust our pelvises.

    • Sir. You have been shouting down any and all valid skepticism and criticism of our #1 overall pick for 2+ years running. You spent all last spring running cover for him and complaining about derails and toxicity only for us to open the season with back to back blowout losses largely contributed by Bryce Young's abysmal play. You have engaged in the exact same formula this spring. You've spent the last two months rage pooing my posts like an angry ten year old even while you've had me on ignore just for speaking the truth about this QB room and our offense. We opened the season with yet another blowout loss this time to a previously 4 win team. And here you are still trying to play the victim while weaponizing the reactions. Any suggestion of you being victimized by anyone else here is a complete and utter farce. You know it. I know it. Have yourself a great day.
    • If he went to Clemson he would be off the board. Still hard to believe they have never drafted a Clemson player.
    • Simply put, Evero has been shafted during his time here. The talent we left him to play with last season was criminal. They've invested some more into the D this offseason, but it's still a unit that's woefully short of talent.  We should have let him walk in the offseason when he wanted to go.
