Well hang on a second. I know we’re talking limited sample size but given how well he’s played at LT so far, suppose Little takes more games to come back and Daley continues to play outstanding there, are we really saying the team should cede the more prestigious spot to Little just because he was a higher pick in the draft?

Or is it more that Daley can play either and Little can only play tackle?

I think Daley played both in college while Little was strictly LT.

Why do fans hate on GVR so much for no reason? GVR is not that bad of a RG. He plays his ass off every games

Not hate, he's a good guy, and think he has a role on this team even if its a depth guy

And just think there is a better option at starter

Because honestly Van Roten hasn't played all that well. He's really good at pulling and leading, he's marginal at everything else. I doubt he's "ahead" of VR right now simply because I don't know how much they've put on his plate as a rookie. But, long-term? Yeah, I expect Daley is going to be penciled in somewhere - my guess is LG - going into next season.

I've got to disagree a bit here. I think van Roten has been doing quite well, within the constructs of the games. He is doing the job well and his ability to move, pull and lay hits at the second level elevates the whole line's ability. He's going to be a fixture on the line this year and probably beyond.

How will he (and the rest) do against SF? I really have no idea... The 49ers defense looks as legit as it ever has and it will be a heck of a test for us. Let's just hope we get well rested and ready over the bye and the 49ers get worn down a bit.

Little honesty should be done for the season. I'm not sure why Williams can't go back to RT and Moton to the LT position.

And honestly, we don't know how many he racked up over the years of football before the draft.

If he was done do y’all think he would be still traveling with the team? I figured he was about a week away and with the bye would be more then ready to return after the bye.

I don't think he's done, and I sure hope he can get back out there and compete. I was just saying that with football players, they've generally been at the game for a decade and a half before getting to the pros... a lot of potential for concussions over those years, many unreported, could mean that even a "first" one could be very serious. It's a rough sport and even with tough guys playing it, they are still only human.

    • We had Darnold in a terrible situation for Sam Darnold and the team he's QBing. Darnold is best deployed as a high level game manager. He has elite throwing skills but he's disaster waiting to happen when he has to press and a QB has to press on a bad team. Seattle is a great spot for him surrounded with great weapons with an elite defense to lean on.  Swap him and Stafford last night and the Seahawks cruise while Darnold has 3-4 turnovers having to try to play hero ball for the Rams.
    • This picture was posted by the NFL back in September and shows Darnold and Maye at the front closest to the Lombardi trophy. I personally don’t believe in the “script” theory. I do believe that the NFL will influence specific games to get a more entertaining outcome at times. However, this is gaining some steam online and even got a response from NFL PR.
    • In the last 5 years, nearly 10% of the NFL's starting QBs (19% of the NFC QBs) were / are (at some point) on the Panther's roster.  Of those QBs, their 2025 win percentage (regular season) was (combined-- the Seahawks, Bucs, and Panthers) won 30 of 51 games--nearly 60%--in 2025.  At an average of 10 wins per season, a team has a better than 90% chance of making the playoffs.  (Heck, I nearly added Caleb Williams to this forumula since we basically gave the Bears their QB as well).
