I’m hoping Daley locks down that LT spot so there is no pressure for Little to return. Honestly he needs to take the rest of the year off. 2 in two weeks is really fuging bad. Let him rest and recoup.

You think a whole season, I understand the thought I definitely don’t want to rush him. I just thought he was way closer to ready being out three to four weeks seemed like more then enough time, but I’m no doctor. Daley’s play has been nothing short of amazing but it shows that SEC competition level.

Any concern Burns won’t play Sunday?

I thought he was actually getting healthier being that he went from a cast to a brace. Definitely worth watching the two DROTY candidates try to have a major impact vs each other’s team.

To be fair regarding the decisions, the concussion protocol is unpredictable. Some guys pass through it quickly. Others take a while.

That said, the fact that Little was placed in it and placed back in it with such a small amount of actual game time played is a tough thing to ignore.

Heck, how many quarters has he actually played? (quarters, not games)

He split snaps with Daryl against the Cards so call that 2, I guess, then played then entire game against the Texans for a total of 6.

I know he said he will play (of course all players want to/say they will play) but you know how these things work, they can get downgraded etc.

Daley is a rock,he played with a groin injury, and still named PFF team of the week.

He is very important for against the 49ers' DL,especially Little not back.

Going to have his hands full with Bosa. Dude has the highest pressure rate in the League

Good thing is Bosa is more of a power guy.  Daley does well against power guys.
I think Igo should go massage Daley’s groin this week.  We need him bad. I don’t want to see Williams vs Bosa.  Don’t think that would end well.

Agree, but what an opportunity for him.  If he can hold up even reasonably well against Bosa as a 6th round rookie LT, he's going to be amazing for us.  There aren't many better than Bosa, but the fact that Daley gets a chance to go up against one in Burns can't do anything but help.  I have a sneaking suspicion that one of the reasons Jordan Gross was so good for us at LT is because he had to go against Peppers in practice so much.

    • Was just reading the Ask the Old Guy story on the team's website and was shocked to see that only two 2nd Rounders have signed so far, 30 of them haven't. That isn't normal, the Texans really screwed things up for the rest of the league, no other explanation that I can think of for 30 of the 32 picks to still be unsigned at this point.
    • They need to address CB before season starts. This is not going to cut it.
    • Except it wouldn't be Rodgers leading them on a postseason run, it would be the defense and he's there to not screw up their great games. Which is why..... This times a million. I didn't watch a ton of the Jets last year, but from what I did see, Rodgers himself didn't look like a bum, the team just struggled and was more than likely due to poor coaching on the whole.  The Steelers don't need MVP level Rodgers to win games, they just need him to be good enough to make some plays when it matters because the defense is keeping them in games every week regardless. In their 7 losses last season, the Steelers scored 10, 13, 17, 17, 17, 19, and 24... while giving up 19, 20, 24, 27, 27, 29, and 34 in those games.  With only marginally better offense last year, they probably end up winning a few more games too. They only scored over 27 points in 3 games last season. I think this is a great move by the Steelers and if Rodgers can stay healthy all year, will get them back into the playoffs and could make some noise if their defense is up to the normal level of a Steelers defense.
