I got poo'd from a couple of people for stating that I believe that Cam should've jumped on that fumble in the Superbowl.  I also said the same thing back then.  Reasoning being that you never know when you're going to get back.  A lot of people back then were saying that no he shouldn't risk it because of the injury risk.  But I say if you're in the Super Bowl you do what it takes to win.

BTW...Jake Delhomme would've jumped on that fumble.

You do realize that the situation in that game changed everything?  Short field they get another TD.

End game stats
First downs-Panthers 21, Broncos 10

Total yards-Panthers-315, Broncos 194

Defining stat (of which Cam was a big part of) Turnovers-Panthers 4, Broncos 2

Cam cost us that game.  I don't forgive poor Super Bowl performances.  We should have had our first Super Bowl in SB50.

I'll bite on this. That one play did not lose us that game. It was a collection of bad plays, bad/no calls, and poor game preparation that lost us that game. Watch the positioning of the two closest Denver players on that play though, had Cam dove in for the ball he would have gone head first into the first Denver player and had the second one coming in to possibly lay another collision on him, which could have resulted in in being injured and out of the game.

All in all, we lost, poo happens, it was four years ago. Move on.

    • All three charlotte Observer predictors took the Panthers to beat the Jets last week, so the margin among the trio has stayed the same. Fowler maintains a hefty lead at 6-1 over Kaye (2-5) and Zietlow (2-5). Fowler: Panthers 27, Bills 26. Even as I write this, I am having a hard time believing I am going to pick against reigning MVP Josh Allen and Buffalo. But the Panthers are a far better team when playing at home (3-0). The Panthers at least have a shot if they play turnover-free football and run the ball at least 35-40 times against Buffalo’s 31st-ranked rushing defense (with 70% of those carries going to Rico Dowdle, preferably). Put me down for an upset and, hey, if it doesn’t work out, at least I’m giving my colleagues a chance to catch up. Kaye: Bills 27, Panthers 24. I think this game will be close, regardless of who will be at QB for Carolina. The Panthers should have plenty of success on the ground with a few Tetairoa McMillan moments sprinkled in. Josh Allen, though, can be a monster on the football field, and it’s late October. Zietlow: Bills 38, Panthers 21. Trust me, I’ve heard the same things you have. The Bills haven’t beaten a team over .500 yet. They’ve lost two straight. The Panthers brought in former Bills quarterback Mike White to the practice squad to find a competitive edge. Etc. Etc. But this is a game the Bills need to win in order to get on the right track — and a bye week of preparation will only help Josh Allen and the rest of the team in this effort. I think the Panthers hold close for a while, but then the Bills pull away at the end.
    • Stop Allen, and the Bills are done Take a page from the Atlanta DC on blitzes he does not handle well and male sure gap integrity is held   And hit him
    • Anthony Richardson has been plagued by injuries and what does his play have to do with Hendon.  Richardson was a combine warrior his passing stats in college never showed elite he was drafted on potential. Hendon was an elite passer in college and is near the top of all time Tennessee passing stats.  The jury is still out on what Hooker ability at this level is.
