I dont think Ron is in a position to say anything else...what is he going to do rip QB1 randomly in front of the media. in the real world thats piss poor management.

Again, I agree.

4 or 5 weeks ago after one of 'Boat's weekday pressers Kyle Bailey (WFNZ) described ol' 'Boat as a "meat shield for the organization"....

....I tend to think he was on point.

Ron has been taking one for the team and hiding something all along --- good management on his part.

Maybe everyone has it wrong. Maybe the team doctors are telling he’s great and well enough to play and he’s feeling a lot of pain and wants a 3rd opinion.

It's happened before with Jonathan Stewart. He had several people look at his knee. Worked out for him.

it seems pretty obvious he needs surgery.  he did this with his ankle and shoulder - waited until the last minute to get surgery.   he tried all kinds of healing modalities to avoid it.   i'd bet a lot of money the team has been encouraging him to get the surgery and he's not been listening, just like twice before.   isola was pointing out a study by penn st that athletes that have it have over a 90% chance of returning to 100% w/in 15 months.      of course i could be 100% incorrect but it seems obvious.  so by waiting this long he's insured he won't be ready at all next year.   think about his other surgeries, could have had them right at the end of the season but didn't (1st shoulder, ankle).  he waited and waited and waited.

I’ve definitely not heard 15 months. More like 5-6.

within 15 months.   5-6 is within 15 months.  not sure why they have it out that far, probably for severe cases

Dr. Anderson on Lisfranc Timeline

This article is a bit dated but is a good explanation of the injury from the Dr Cam is seeing.  It seems like he’s frustrated because he’s at the upper end of the “non-surgery” recovery timeline and still doesn’t feel ready to play.

They likely “waited” because there are a multitude of scholarly articles explaining how physical therapy is just as effective as surgery in many cases involving the shoulder. It was the smartest option without hindsight which is an impossibility.

If y’all think owners and coaches really care about the players you are nuts.  These guys  are just highly paid employees in their minds.  I think there is much more going on with this than just injury/physical pain, Cam has gone off the deep end emotionally too.

Only Cam knows how he feels .  He needs to be honest with the team and himself .  Players want to play but Cam needs to take care of his body and i's not fair to the team if he says he is ok to play and is not .   Give Cam the time to heal and then decide what is best for Cam and the team .  Everything else will play out as it should .

I wonder why you think this.  He hasn't behaved erratically in public, no arrests, no crazed conspiracy rants, etc.

Oh that's right, you're one of those guys who very vocally and prolifically doesn't like his scarves or his little scooter.
