Regarding the fake punt...

I cannot stress this enough:

It was dumb as hell.  It was so dumb, had he not converted and that nearly was the case, people could have lost their jobs if it caused us to lose.  I get it--if it is there, take it---but inside your own 40, it better be wide open--it was not.

Not Chase?

Chase was a decent player, but he's a great coach.

Well, now you know who to blame for that..

Lol, so Colin Jones made the decision to fake punt while we were up 10 on our side of the field. The announcers kept talking about how ballsy that was. I wonder what he saw that made him that confident. Pretty nuts he has that autonomy, though we did trade for him and have kept him for 7 years and he's our special teams captain, so if anyone would have that ability it would be him.

But we converted and got a touchdown. Every once in a while it's cool to take chances. A lot of winning teams do that and we hardly ever see the Panthers take chances. If we don't go for it and get that touchdown, and give them the ball back it could have been a totally different game. Risk taking is a part of the game and be happy it worked out for us instead of worrying about what could have happened. Oh and nobody is losing their jobs over one play. People don't lose their jobs in this organization if you haven't figured that out by now

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
