I will bold this cause it makes it more important.

Cam is a once in a lifetime talent that you can't let out the door, unless you know 100% that he can't return to form.  Because of this you have to give cam a chance to show you what he has left.

How many 1st round QBs you want to run through to find a decent QB.  Hello Browns, that's what we are facing without Cam at QB.

You guys think we’ll lose ‘immense value’ not trading Cam right now lol. I’d don’t think other teams are lining up to trade their first rounders for an injured qb who can’t play.

That said just suck it up and see if he can play next year. Tell him you want him here but can’t extend him for painfully obvious reasons. If he plays the season well he’ll be rewarded with a contract.

Either he’s on board or you trade him for a 3rd and move on. It’s really as simple as this.

Your poetic nonsense is a sight to behold Sax.  Prose of William Blake....on acid.

Anyways, I think a GM/Owner would be silly not to consider trading but this is a sticky situation and I don't necessarily want him gone.

Also to the dude above ^^ Playing out a QB's contract and seeing if it works out for a new contract does not just happen.  In that instance, we'll likely get outbid and then at the most get a compensatory 3rd for him.  What do you contract for a early 30s QB with his style of play and recent injury history?  I personally don't even know.
