Panthers safety Eric Reid said Sunday's loss to Atlanta was not Kyle Allen's fault even though the quarterback threw four picks. But, Reid said regarding Carolina's decision not to send a representative to Colin Kaepernick's tryout in Atlanta, ‘‘I think we could use Colin's help. I think every team in the league could use Colin's help.''

When Reid says, "I think every team in the league could use Colin's help", it's probably not the type of help ANYONE is thinking about or needs for that matter.

How does that ever friggin happen?

luke ends up one on one against julio?

where the hell are our safeties?

Where are our safeties? You mean Eric Reid that was late getting over top help on that play? Well... we all know where his focus is, and it's miles away from being the best NFL safety and Carolina Panther he can be. There's something Tepper could address "FOCUS"!

No.......that may be some, but if this team was actually good the stands would be full.  Too many are tired of the below average product.

We were 5-4 coming into this game. You gotta be undefeated to get fans in the seats??

Its definitely something else.

A pattern of losing at home and listless performances does not help

Love him or hate him,  Cam was a huge draw and that’s part of it too

Love him or hate him, Cam's personality and performance was a big draw and raised the profile of the Panthers significantly in the eyes of the national media.

Tepper and the Panthers cannot count on Cam forever to fill the stadium.  Eventually Dave is gonna have to find a coach that can consistently get the Panthers in the playoff mix without depending on Cam to do it.  Ron simply isn't that guy.

The variables in play are:

1. On field product.

2. Cost of participating for fans (tickets & in stadium concession prices).

3. Elimination of inexpensive tickets in the scalper after-market.

4. Problematic stadium ingress due to misguided security efforts.

5. New owner with attendant politics that don't dovetail with local fan base.

For decades the on-field product has always been incredibly inconsistent with little to no impact on attendance.

As such, something in points 2 through 5 is driving attendance down...

That is just pathetic.

Charlotte. Do not give Tepper a reason to move this team.

You say this as if only Charlotteans come to the game. People come from all over the region. The further away they come from, the less I blame them for leaving early to get home and do better things with their time. Tepper isn’t an idiot, he knows the results would be the same elsewhere if the product is of similar low quality.

    • This is a toughie because I wonder what a guy like Canales thinks about redemption stories for addiction issues. Also, I think this is a case of 1 player getting caught, and not being naive enough to think this isn't more common in college than we think. I'd toss a 3rd rounder out there. 2026 is essentially a redshirt season regardless, so he's not taking over for any NFL QB next year. Best case, he's ready to go in 2027 if we pass on Bryce's extension. Worst case, he's our future backup QB2. Kid has the tools to be an NFL QB. I do think we could somehow land a '26 3rd round pick back in a trade. Our past years' third rounders are: Brazzell Princely Wallace DJ Johnson Matt Corral All this to say, I could see a team like the Jets going w/ a 2nd. They have three FRPs next year.
    • Alright man! We're here for it! Just glad you're keeping the doors open!
    • I think we've seen improvement in Bryce's performance. It still isn't up to world beater status, but in Canales defense, he can say that the limitations of the player were hit. I think he survives that even if Bryce doesn't. Still, I think it's a 50/50 shot for Bryce to make it. QB is one of the toughest jobs to do in the sports world, if not the most, so the failure rate is really high, no matter the pedigree. Heck, Archie Manning gets a lot of credit as a great QB but anyone who saw his career in motion knows he wasn't really that good and he was surrounded by bottom of the bowl players. He did get it figured out with his sons, though. That grandson... maybe.
