I don’t think it’ll take creativity. Just competence. While I’ve always been a supporter of letting Cam heal and starting next year, with the right FO moves, a new coaching staff and adequate drafting life can be put back into this franchise, it doesn’t revolve around Cam, saying he’s what we needs implies hopelessness if he never comes back, it revolves around success. Even Cam can’t stop this franchise from complacent mediocrity, that starts at the top - build And maintain a legit contender, with whoever at QB and life will come back into the fanbase.

This team needs more than a healthy Cam. He had a much better defense in 2015, not many starters could win with what we have now.

Cam needs to stay.  Sadly seems that's already been decided...and it ain't the right decision. 

 

You absolutely roll the dice on a healthy Cam (on a shorter deal). Our best chance at being relevant moving on from Cam...is getting lucky finding a QB.  Something that year after year 20+ teams can't seem to get right.

I am a huge Cam fan and have been saying since the beginning Allen is not the answer.
