It's time for Will Grier

Yea, I was in the camp that thought Kyle Allen could be a decent starter.  Over the last few weeks I have changed my opinion.  I still think Kyle Allen is a quality backup. A backup isn't supposed to play 14 games and it's obviously too much for him at this point in his career.  

That being said, it's time to start Will Grier and see what you have in him.  At this point if the coaching staff doesn't start him, does this show how little faith they have in him?

We have him so why not?  Honestly...we need a Lamar Jackson type behind that O-line tho.  Grier will just get overwhelmed.

Eh, not much can be gained by killing the kids confidence behind a horrible offensive line his rookie year

There's a reason the 3rd round draft pick QB isn't playing. And when your second option would likely be worse than your current option, it doesn't look promising.

Kyle Allen was always going to regress. Once a NFL team has tape on you, you have to change what your doing. Kyle Allen is a decent QB. He will get better over time, but a NFL QB is one of the hardest jobs to perfect.

We had the better version of Lamar Jackson and our O line ruined his career

Well it's very hard to learn when your line is a turnstile. We would be a much different team if we could lean on a MVP caliber back and not a rookie QB but this line can't even run block right.

He should play so that he can be evaluated going forward as should a lot of depth pieces in a lost season, but if he doesn't it also doesn't mean anything about the organization's faith in him.

Agree to disagree.....I think Lamar is better at this point, he is quicker.  Cam used his legs alot yes and felt more like another RB and can run downhill for the needed extra gains for first down cause he bigger man.  Lamar just seems quicker WR like and gets more than a first down, kid is running wild right now.

Yeah Lamar is going to be better than Cam and he's got a great Oline to protect him as well.

Didn't he get hurt badly and never been same since?  Could happen to any player.  Any player can have flashes, rise and then fall.  It is consistency good play I look for and hope for the team.
