If we lose out, we get a high draft pick

Our season ended when Atlanta beat us

this week was just embarrassing

lose em all...play for draft picks...we need new players

I'm not saying it would save our season.  Im fine with any outcome for the rest of the games.  They are all win/win.  Get to enjoy a win if it happens or enjoy a better pick if we lose. But I would really love to ruin Saints home field advantage and/or first round bye chances.  They showed a stat during saints vs Falcons that the Saints have only ever lost one home playoff game.  The PI no call game that was called correctly imo.  I'd rather not just roll over and make it easier for the Saints to make super bowl.

Who gives a crap about their playoff scenarios, we need a top 5 pick

Not only that, but a top pick in 2nd and 3rd. We need to close house and bring someone in before the draft starts. I would make sure everybody knows the position is open, now.

    • This And with possibly needing to replace Bryce next year and a deep QB class, I do not hate the idea of moving far enough back to pick up another 1st rounder next year out of the deal. I wouldn't have said that a week ago, but I also never expected us to land 3 big FA's at our 3 biggest positions of need like we have, it totally changes things.
    • The OL has certainly been better than the trainwreck it was three or four years ago. As far as competitiveness let's apply some realism and clarity here. Quite a bit of the competitiveness in 2025 came from the defensive side of the ball which gave up the most points in league history the year before and was one of the bottom 5 units in terms of salary cap allocation for 2025 while the OL was top 3. We had the 26th passing offense last year. And if not for a herculean couple of games from Rico Dowdle we don't back our way into the division title or make the playoffs because we went 4-6 in our final ten games including being swept by the Saints who were starting a rookie 2nd round pick most of us mercilessly mocked when they selected him. In conclusion yes we've seen a difference. The question now is will the investment pay off the way we want. But the only way that happens is if we field a top 15 offense. If we can't even crack the top 20 then there need to be some very warm seats across the board. And I would hope just about anyone here should agree with that.
    • These Spurs are lowkey loaded.  If healthy, they could win it all this year (#2 in the West right now). I still think we’ve gotta keep Kalk on Wemby; he’s not getting completely dominated like every other NBA center.
