Speculation on Rivera's possible landing spots from Jason La Canfora...

Apparently Rivera most wants to go to the Bears or back to the Chargers, but it's not guaranteed that either of those jobs will be available.

Other possibilities include the Giants, the Cowboys, and possibly even the Falcons.

If Gettleman stays in place, I think that's very possible.

Most of the speculation I've seen with the Giants centers around Shurmur, but who knows?

Gettleman has a history with that organization so I think he has more clout and staying power than Schurmur.  If G-man stays and Schumur is booted, I'm willing to bet who the first candidate on the phone will be.

Yeah going to Atlanta makes no sense.    I don't think they want another defensive coach, if the job opens up.     But like others said, definitely not one that they have abused year after year.    They would be a special type of stupid to hire this guy.

They may think he'd be different with them. Hard to say.

I'll grant that it might not make sense, but if there's one thing I've learned it's that something not making sense is no guarantee it won't happen.
