Given his background as a cap specialist, it's actually more likely he could've anticipated the new cap than he could have correctly identified the best OT or QB to take in the draft.

Every person in the NFL knows it’s going up every year. It’s even figured(estimated) At 199M on Sportrac. So any number seen before remains the same. This wasn’t some big announcemen or surprise.
