cam huggers are the worst.   nothing wrong with hoping kyle was it, nothing wrong with hoping will is it.  kyle was a super longshot, will a little less so, but still a giant longshot.  a fanatic hoping we got the next brady.  that's fandom.  shouldn't want any of them to fail, or be proud of yourself for predicting the outcome in a heavy odds situation.   if that's what you're using to make yourself feel good - your life is lame as fug

If it's like his preseason, where he skied a bunch of his throws against third-stringers, kind of hard to argue against a treble of picks or more. I'm hoping that he's picked up the offense and learned how to curtail those while learning on the practice field, though without any real game experience, it's very possible he could be a deer-in-headlights again this Sunday.

To be fair there have been a crap ton of posters here the last 8 years that would label you something far worse if you didn’t like Cam. Just saying.

Hey, that'll help with the tanking.

This is a win/win situation. If Grier plays well, maybe we have a young QB worth developing. Yay. If he's terrible then we lose for sure and get better draft position. Yay.

Oh, I know, although I'm not holding my breath on the first one. My post was to answer the original poll, in that I think he'll throw more picks than TDs (if even one, since I expect CMC to roll on those).

And there's nothing wrong with that. This is a rookie QB making his first start in a live NFL game. I expect mistakes galore, so if he surprises me with some good, that's just a bonus. I just hope no one expects us to win either of the last two, because they're setting themselves up for a let down imo.
