Defensive minded coach who was just hired and has never coached a game in the NFL, makes the most important decision in franchise history and allowed to play general manager on a quarterback

Who shot Kennedy?

Almos as crazy as rehiring a GM who ran your team into the ground, after 5 years of not even one team giving him a call(FFS!! Ryan Grigson got a job...twice), and expecting anything but disaster. The definition of insanity is this scenario.

Rivera didn’t waste a 2nd on Pickles the year before either.

Don't forget, it was also said later that Hurney tried desperately to trade up to get pickles that year, but it fell through. Think about this, if he had found a trading partner willing to get him back in the first round, it most likely would have cost us our next year's first rounder. It's not like he didn't have a history of doing exactly that, trading next year's first to go up to get his "guy." Now, who was it again that we ended up drafting the next year again? All because, supposedly, Hurney had a major hard-on for Pickles.

There is no way in hell I would entrust this man to steer a Pinto, much less an entire draft for my team. No way, no how, hell no.

Imagine if Gettleman had succeeded in trading up for Fournette.
