CMC puts up the third 1000/1000 season in nfl history and we have plebs on here saying it's not impressive. that's basically showing mastery in two phases of offensive football. there needs to be a screening process.

Why do you present these as mutually exclusive options? Good offenses look downfield and take the checkdown if the downfield option is covered. I am pretty sure a qb can throw 1,000 yards to his rb and still have a deep threat receiver who accounts for significant yardage. That is basically the KC offense in a nutshell or the Saints the last couple years with Kamara. Once we have a qb capable of throwing down the field with accuracy, I don't expect CMC to languish. We'll just be that much more difficult to stop.

I mean .. he already had a season with 1,000 rushing 1,000 receiving .. they probably won't top that .. this season is the statistical ceiling for CMC

I'd love to see what Bieniemy could do with Cam Newton
