Potentially a bizarre scandal brewing in New Orleans

This will be an interesting case study in how the media operates. #MeToo was trending right at the apex of the Richardson debacle. That was the perfect storm, in a lot of ways, to set up a quick sell and disappearing act. If this scandal runs deep, curious to see how much slack the media gives the Saints. They’ve been a very sentimental franchise for the media for a long time.

brees defended the fuging bush administration. he went to Guantanamo Bay while random dudes from afghanistan and Iraq were being tortured and humiliated for no fuging reason

of course he would defend the pedophilia of the catholic church

and yes i know he's not specifically named but lmao you know it's gonna come out

Brees also went on record telling kids to take their bibles to school. Probably is offended if one of his kids teachers shows up wearing a turban.

Why exactly?

Katrina was a billion years ago in media terms. Can’t think of any other reason why.

The media has a love affair with the city. They have a love affair with Drew Brees. There’s the sympathy card from the playoff disasters. Generally, the media just loves the city. There the Katrina effect, I’m sure, if you ask most honest media experts about it.

Look, that city went through hell in 2005. But it doesn’t mean that the New Orleans Saints are above reproach.

That’s just my opinion, for the record. It’s a palpable slant.

I’m not sure if it’s a “cover up” per se. it sounds like they advised the church on HOW to release the names from a PR perspective. It’s still really gross to even be associated with monsters but I’m not sure if they actually did anything illegal unless I misread something.

So embarrassing.

Brees, Kamara, and Michael Thomas should be banned for life.

Lol.... owner + executives helping the Catholic Church cover up their dirty laundry = Ban for Brees, Kamara, Thomas?
