and we won 5 games

dude we are in a rebuild and Olsen just said so

I did mention we had Kyle Allen as our QB right? Where did Olsen mention rebuild and even if rebuild can take one offseason or a couple years. Anything more then a 2 year rebuild is a loosers mentality, it shouldn't even take that long.

Rhule made it pretty clear during his first press conference that he intended to build a winning program from the ground up and that he wasn't hired to do a quick fix of the Panthers.

Those hoping for some dramatic turnaround next season are likely to be disappointed.

Seems like Greg Olsen got the message and chose to move on to greener pastures.

Best of Luck Greg and thanks for the memories!

Please show me any person on this forum that thinks we are going to have a good to great record next year? I think everyone knows there is going to be some pain before we get to the promise land.

With Cam 8-8 is our worst record imo, with KA....I might turn off some games

there it is

thats with our hof linebacker retiring, thats with only 2 dlineman under contract, thats with our offensive line in shambles and thats with our hof TE moving on.  But yeah our floor is 8 wins.  Godalmighty

oh yeah forgot to mention a first year head coach and a 30 year old OC.

Our floor is 8 wins.

wow

cmc is good but he can only handle so many more touches, plus with his record setting year we only won 5 games

Dj moore - stud

Ian thomas - total unknown

Curtis samuel - all 50 catches of him

Burns - cannot play in a 4-3 and is a one trick pony at this point

Bradberry - so there are guys equal to him in FA?

Donte - he will be back

KK - is on the wrong side of 30, has a injury and a big contract.   I think he gets restructured or cut

Mccoy - he gone

I am not seeing the upside and i noticed you didnt mention the oline at all.  You know the one that gave up the lead leading sacks

Burns played with his hand in the dirt at the end of the year and still maintained his pressure rate

KK- one of the first to have his replacement drafted..but he still has 2 more years or so in the tank

Bradberry- will probably fold, I dont see anyone giving him top 5 money

Boston- pay the man

Curtis- open deep every game behind everyone with a noodle armed qb

Ian Thomas- have you watched him play? He had a bad drop this year but he did good with Cam in 18

Oline- adress the Center in the draft as building a pocket is important and sign a LT in FA

Rhule- "I want to win a championship with Cam Newton "

I hope you meant DTs under contract, and I'm on the Brown train at 7 all the way.

    • Roger all that. Do you think BY avoided any sacks last game? This oline is not what you're touting them to be. They are much better then 2023! Much much much better than 2023. But come on now, you'd expect this expensive oline (most are run blocking specialist) to at least dominate in the run game every game.  And... I keep telling you our WRs and TEs are not that good yet. I mean last Sunday was a prime example. Our receiving targets never make plays like those. Never. And this is from one of the worst teams in the league. Shough could have easily had 3 INTs if not for his receivers making plays on the ball. Our guys just don't do that. XL almost allowed an INT backing up out of bounds instead of coming to the ball. And everyone would have blamed that on BY. That's why he doesn't throw to that dude. I can't recall a game except maybe the second Falcons game - maybe, where I thought our receivers could possibly be better than the other team's. I think TMac and Coker have a lot of potential. But they're aren't consistent. But they're young and WILL improve. I'm confident of that.  I don't agree that BY was drafted to only stand in the pocket. He has always been best off schedule - for better or worse.
    • Do you think you will get a direct answer?  Icky giving up 5 pressures (playing hurt in his defense) by himself and Bryce only getting sacked once tells you he played well in the pocket.  He extended plays and converted some tough downs.
    • I've been very apprehensive about potentially firing yet another head coach. But Canales needs to focus on being a head coach first and foremost and begin handing off some responsibilities like playcalling duties and begin overseeing the entire team or we need to assess all possible ideal HC candidates in the offseason.
