Are you ready to wait five years to be competitive?

I know people like to get into number of years, but it's not like the team has plan that specifically says "year one we do this and go 2-14, year two we do this and go 5-11, etc."

All it really means is they're going to be very patient, take it slow, think long-term and not be worried if we're losing a lot of games right now.

The plan is still to get better as soon as possible, but better in a long-term way rather than a short-term way.

I've got a fairly simple plan for the next few years.

Expect sh-tty football.

Keep expecting sh-tty football until it starts looking not sh-tty.

Carolina Panthers Survival Tip for Fans 2020:  Continue to lower your expectations until you find that you're are happy again.

Example:  Oh look, the Panthers found their way to BOA Stadium in time for the game!!!

I think you've hit on the formula for how David Tepper evaluates GM performance.
