Not sure we go 2-14 or 1-15 yet (I wish, I'm a big contender or bust advocate) But Cam leaving inevitably will leave 21 million in cap space. We draft LT at #7 and spend the other 20 million saved on Cam on a offensive line boost, this team very well might win 7-8 games. We can't field a decent offensive line while paying Cam 13 million under market, what makes you think It's going to happen if he's making market?

I said it before and I'll say it again, Kyle Allen with a offensive line that gives 5-6 seconds to throw the ball is better then Cam Newton with 2-4. If Cam was 500k like KA, then by all means he's better, but Ron is not the one who didn't fix the offensive line, he schemed the best he could to make up for it. Sure glad we have Vernon Butler though! 

If we're going to do this right, we need to trade CMC, Bengals might listen to trade involving Cam and CMC, but you never know.

Losing Cam and Luke just to finish with a mid round pick will be a disaster.

I plan on watching the next few seasons with more of an analytical eye than a fan's eye.

I'll be looking at what changes, what improves, what gets worse, etc.

And I'll be going in with extremely low expectations.

Same here. I was ready for a change. I like what I've heard from Rhule and the way he has built teams. Want to see how he does it here.

      He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.

      This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.

      I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
