Chiefs allowed less points this year than the Niners. Chefs D this year is not the same as last year and is a strength and big reason they’re in the Super Bowl at all.

Styles make fights. The Niners have the #1 pass D in the league. The Chiefs have the 26th rush D in the league. I think this is a bad match up for the Chiefs looking at the strengths and weaknesses of both teams.

Those numbers are misleading. Niners have struggled against every top passing offense they’ve played (very few), none of which were as good as Mahomes and the Chiefs anyways. And the Chiefs run D has been much better late in the year and in these playoffs. They just completely shutdown Henry who was playing out of his mind, and that was with the Titans being in prime position to run the ball that game with two separate 10 point leads.

The numbers are what they are. You can cherry pick any numbers to try to poke holes in them to fit any agenda you want.

Often times in the SB the team with the better QB wins. Mahomes is 10x better than Jimmy G.

      I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa

      You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously

      Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
